What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

The problem

MacMurray Centre used to be a client of a nationwide IT services provider. As the centre moved into a growth phase, management identified a need for more support around IT, especially systems for helping staff with IT challenges. What MacMurray didn’t have with their previous provider was a consistent support team. Being a medical business first and foremost, they were not IT savvy and didn't want to become IT specialists.

The solution

In the medical industry, security breaches are a pain point that can be hard to prevent, so in addition to providing support services CNS has helped MacMurray Centre improve data security for patients’ personal and medical information. CNS also created an asset management system that was initially used to manage IT assets. Now it looks after all medical assets as well. Everything has a barcode, so it can be used as a schedule to identify when each piece of equipment needs service or maintenance. The assets register also helps with depreciation and lease management. Additionally, MacMurray had no integration between their patient management system and their Xero finance solution. CNS provided a solution, so now all relevant information transfers to Xero. By streamlining this process it has significantly reduced their accountant’s workload.

The results

CNS has been an essential component in MacMurray Centre’s growth plans. We’ve helped the centre transition successfully from a small to medium-size enterprise and our talent for lateral thinking ensures budgets remain intact.
